点击进入:youtu.be/NU4oPjGqTBQ?si…

  • 加大对对齐、可解释性、鲁棒性与可控性的研究投入;
  • 建立国际协调机制,避免军备竞赛式的不负责任部署;
  • 通过教育、再培训与社会保障缓冲经济冲击;

(Miles Yu)

Relaxing Regulation of Bitcoin May Pose a Major Challenge to the Status of the US Dollar

In today’s global financial system, the US dollar’s position as the world’s primary reserve currency and the dominant medium for international trade settlement has long underpinned America’s economic hegemony and geopolitical influence. Yet Bitcoin, a digital asset born in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis, is gradually posing a potential threat to this system through its unique technical architecture and decentralized nature. If the regulatory environment is further relaxed, allowing Bitcoin to integrate more widely into mainstream finance and payment networks, its ability to bypass traditional intermediaries and move across borders with minimal friction could accelerate the diversion of capital away from the dollar system, weakening the dollar’s network effects and the foundation of trust upon which it rests.
I. The Developmental History of Bitcoin
The birth of Bitcoin was no accident; it was a direct response to the crisis of the traditional financial system. In 2008, the global financial crisis erupted, banking systems teetered on the brink of collapse, and governments around the world launched massive bailouts of financial institutions, exposing the fragility of centralized monetary and credit systems. Against this backdrop, an anonymous individual (or group) using the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto published the white paper Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System on a cryptography mailing list on October 31, 2008. The nine-page document clearly outlined an electronic cash system that required no trusted third party: it solved the double-spending problem through proof-of-work, and constructed an immutable public ledger using hash chains, Merkle trees, and digital signatures. On January 3, 2009, Satoshi mined the genesis block, and the Bitcoin network officially launched. Embedded in the block was the headline from that day’s The Times: “Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks”—both a timestamp and a pointed critique of traditional finance. The 50 bitcoins awarded for the genesis block were designed to be forever unspendable. Nine days later, Satoshi sent 10 bitcoins to early participant Hal Finney, completing the first true peer-to-peer transaction in history. In its early days, Bitcoin had almost no price and circulated mainly among geeks and cypherpunks. On May 22, 2010, programmer Laszlo Hanyecz used 10,000 bitcoins to buy two pizzas, marking Bitcoin’s first commercial use. This day later became known as “Bitcoin Pizza Day.” At the time, those 10,000 bitcoins were worth only about $41; at later price peaks, their value exceeded the billion-dollar range, symbolizing Bitcoin’s transition from experiment to reality. That same year, early exchanges such as Mt. Gox emerged, providing initial trading liquidity. In 2011, Bitcoin’s price first broke through $1, then rose rapidly before falling back, experiencing its early boom-and-bust cycles. On November 28, 2012, Bitcoin underwent its first halving, with the block reward dropping from 50 BTC to 25 BTC. This hard-coded monetary policy—a total supply capped at approximately 21 million coins and a roughly four-year halving cycle—became the core of Bitcoin’s scarcity narrative. Subsequent halvings occurred in 2016, 2020, and 2024, gradually reducing the reward to 3.125 BTC.2013 was a pivotal year that brought Bitcoin into mainstream view. The Cyprus banking crisis sparked safe-haven demand, and the price briefly surpassed $1,000. That same year, the US Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) classified certain Bitcoin-related activities as money services businesses, while China’s five ministries issued a notice clarifying that Bitcoin was not a currency and prohibiting financial institutions from participating. The shutdown of the Silk Road dark-web marketplace also widely associated Bitcoin with illicit transactions. In 2014, Mt. Gox went bankrupt, with approximately 850,000 bitcoins lost or stolen, plunging the market into a prolonged downturn. In 2017, Bitcoin’s price soared to nearly $20,000, attracting retail investors and media attention on a large scale for the first time, before entering a bear market and declining sharply. After the pandemic in 2020, institutional capital began flowing in; companies such as MicroStrategy added Bitcoin to their balance sheets. In 2021, the price approached $69,000, and El Salvador declared Bitcoin legal tender—the first sovereign nation to formally adopt it. 2022 saw another crypto winter triggered by events such as the collapse of FTX.In January 2024, the US Securities and Exchange Commission approved spot Bitcoin ETFs, marking Bitcoin’s formal entry into traditional capital markets and accelerating institutional allocation. After the fourth halving in April 2024, the price repeatedly surpassed $100,000 in 2025, with market capitalization approaching or exceeding the $2 trillion range at times. From its genesis to a trillion-dollar market cap, Bitcoin evolved from a fringe experiment into a globally watched digital asset whose scale is now sufficient to exert real influence on macro financial flows.Bitcoin’s history—from the white paper to a multi-trillion-dollar asset—is one of technical validation, market cycles, and regulatory contestation. Its fixed issuance rules and decentralized network have made it the core vehicle for the “digital gold” narrative and have laid the groundwork for its challenge to the existing monetary order.
II. Bitcoin’s Decentralization and Other Technologies Can Circumvent Layers of Regulation
Bitcoin’s most fundamental characteristic is decentralization. It has no central issuing authority, no single server, and no node that can be shut down by a single entity. The network is jointly maintained by nodes distributed around the world; transactions are broadcast peer-to-peer and packaged into blocks by miners through proof-of-work. As long as honest nodes control the majority of computing power, the longest-chain principle ensures the consistency and immutability of the ledger. Any attempt to alter historical transactions would require redoing the proof-of-work for that block and all subsequent blocks—an extremely costly and virtually infeasible undertaking. This architecture directly bypasses the intermediary layers of traditional finance. Banks, payment companies, and clearing systems act as critical gatekeepers in the dollar system: they enforce KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) rules, comply with sanctions lists, and are directly supervised by central banks and regulators. Bitcoin transactions require none of these intermediaries. As long as a user controls the private keys, they can send bitcoin directly to any address, almost frictionlessly and without regard to business hours or borders. Regulators cannot freeze on-chain addresses as easily as they can freeze bank accounts (unless the assets are held in regulated custodial exchanges).Censorship resistance further strengthens this capability. Miners and nodes are distributed across multiple jurisdictions worldwide; a ban by any single country cannot shut down the entire network. Even if one nation prohibits mining or trading, the network can continue operating elsewhere. Self-custody wallets give users true control over their assets without relying on any third-party custodian. Second-layer solutions such as the Lightning Network provide faster and cheaper payment channels outside main-chain settlement, further reducing dependence on traditional payment rails.Privacy-related techniques, while imperfect, also increase the difficulty of tracing. Public-key addresses are not directly linked to real-world identities; combined with mixing practices (such as CoinJoin) and the use of new addresses, they can partially sever transaction trails. Although on-chain analysis tools have advanced significantly and KYC at exchanges remains the primary entry point, once assets move into self-custody and undergo obfuscation, the cost and difficulty of regulatory tracking rise substantially. For those seeking to evade capital controls, sanctions, or asset flight in high-inflation environments, Bitcoin offers an alternative channel that the traditional banking system struggles to match. Moreover, Bitcoin’s scarcity and programmability give it potential as a store of value and a tool for cross-border settlement. In regions with strict capital controls or declining monetary credibility, people tend to prefer assets that cannot be inflated or easily confiscated. Once this demand reaches scale, it creates substitution pressure on dollar-denominated assets and payment networks. Regulatory relaxation would mean more legitimate entry points, greater institutional participation, and higher liquidity—amplifying this substitution effect. Capital previously constrained by exchange compliance and banking channels could flow more freely into the Bitcoin network, forming a parallel layer of value transfer alongside the dollar system on a global scale.Technology itself is neutral, but when it is designed to be permissionless and censorship-resistant, it inherently challenges a monetary order that relies on permission and centralized control. The dollar’s status depends not only on America’s economic strength but also on global reliance on dollar clearing networks, the US Treasury market, and sanctions tools. Bitcoin directly undermines the technical foundation of that reliance.
III. The US Government Should Not Support the Development of Bitcoin
Given the historical and technical realities outlined above, if the US government relaxes regulation or actively supports Bitcoin’s development, it risks posing a major challenge to the dollar’s status. Therefore, it should not adopt a supportive stance.First, Bitcoin directly competes with the dollar’s reserve and settlement functions. Dollar hegemony rests on network effects: the more people use it, the more others are willing to hold it; the depth and liquidity of the US Treasury market further reinforce this position. Bitcoin offers an alternative scarce, cross-border, and censorship-resistant store of value. When central banks, sovereign wealth funds, or large institutions include Bitcoin in their reserves, or when businesses and individuals increasingly use it for cross-border trade settlement, marginal demand for dollars and Treasuries declines. Historical experience shows that erosion of reserve-currency status is often slow but cumulative. Once alternative inertia forms, reversal becomes extremely difficult.Second, Bitcoin weakens the effectiveness of US financial sanctions and capital controls. The dollar clearing system and SWIFT network are important geopolitical tools for the United States. The Bitcoin network does not rely on these channels, enabling sanctioned entities or individuals to potentially circumvent some restrictions through on-chain transfers. Although practical execution still faces challenges in converting to fiat, liquidity, and tracking risks, the mere technical feasibility reduces the deterrent power of sanctions. Relaxing regulation and promoting institutionalization through tools such as ETFs would only expand Bitcoin’s legitimate liquidity pool, making circumvention more convenient.Third, Bitcoin’s high volatility and speculative nature could amplify financial risks that ultimately rebound on the stability of the dollar system. If the US government actively elevates Bitcoin’s price and adoption through strategic reserves, tax incentives, or regulatory loosening, a sharp correction or systemic risk event could transmit losses into traditional financial markets, undermining confidence in Treasuries and the dollar’s credibility. Incorporating a highly volatile asset into official frameworks introduces market-sentiment risk into the sovereign balance sheet, which runs counter to the goal of monetary stability.Fourth, supporting Bitcoin could accelerate the trend toward a multipolar global monetary system. Some countries are already exploring paths to de-dollarization; Bitcoin, as a “neutral” digital asset, could become one of the alternatives. If the United States actively embraces and promotes it, it would effectively help construct a parallel monetary system not under its own control. In contrast, strengthening regulation of dollar stablecoins, improving traditional payment infrastructure, and maintaining the credibility of fiscal and monetary policy would better reinforce the dollar’s position. Although stablecoins also use blockchain technology, most are pegged to the dollar and constrained by issuer reserves; they are essentially extensions of the dollar rather than substitutes for it.Some argue that the United States could “co-opt” Bitcoin by dominating its ecosystem (through ETFs, miners, technical standards, etc.) and thereby turn the challenge into an advantage. However, the decentralized nature of Bitcoin’s protocol layer means that no single country can truly control its rules or issuance. Once network effects spread globally, America’s relative influence may actually be diluted. History shows that once a technology matures and builds a user base, regulation and political will often can only follow rather than fully reverse it.Therefore, from the strategic height of preserving the dollar’s long-term status, the US government should adopt a cautious or even restrictive approach: strengthen supervision of exchanges and custodial services, clarify tax and anti-money-laundering requirements, avoid elevating Bitcoin to quasi-official asset status, and concentrate efforts on reinforcing the dollar’s own credibility and infrastructure. Relaxing regulation may appear to embrace innovation on the surface, but it risks planting long-term hazards for dollar hegemony.

Final Summary
From its 2008 white paper origins, through genesis, halvings, bubbles, and institutionalization, Bitcoin has grown into a globally significant asset that cannot be ignored. Its decentralized, censorship-resistant, and peer-to-peer characteristics enable it to circumvent traditional financial regulation and intermediaries to a considerable degree. If the United States further relaxes regulation and supports its development, Bitcoin’s challenge to the dollar’s reserve status, sanctions effectiveness, and monetary network effects will become even more pronounced. Preserving the dollar’s position requires continuous strengthening of America’s own monetary system, not actively paving the way for a potential substitute. Between innovation and strategic interest, the US government should make a clear and prudent choice.

From historical experience, those who truly accomplish great undertakings often share certain common inner qualities. These qualities do not depend on any particular era or social status; rather, they are recurring requirements that transcend time and place.

  1. Far-reaching ambition and a clear sense of purpose
People capable of great achievements usually possess a long-term direction that goes beyond short-term interests. They can transform vague wishes into concrete, breakable-down goals and persist with them over time. Effort without a clear direction tends to become scattered; those with a strong sense of purpose are able to concentrate limited time and resources on what truly matters.
  2. Tenacious perseverance and the ability to withstand setbacks
Great undertakings almost inevitably involve repeated failures and prolonged pressure. Those who possess this quality can recover quickly after setbacks and treat failure as information rather than negation. They are not people who never fall, but people who continue forward after falling while retaining basic judgment and the capacity to act.
  3. Leadership and the ability to unite others
Individual strength is ultimately limited. Those who achieve great things are typically skilled at identifying, attracting, and motivating the potential of others. They build trust, assign responsibility, and enable a team to form collective force. The core of leadership lies not in outstanding personal performance, but in making more people willing to strive together toward the same direction.
  4. Strategic thinking and decisiveness at critical moments
When facing complex situations, they can grasp the main contradictions, distinguish priorities, and dare to make choices under incomplete information. Indecisiveness causes opportunities to be missed, while blind impulsiveness can bring disaster. True decisiveness is the willingness to bear the consequences after judging the overall situation.
  5. Continuous learning and the capacity for self-iteration
Environments and knowledge are constantly changing. People who accomplish great things usually maintain an open attitude toward learning, are willing to acknowledge their own shortcomings, and adjust their understanding and methods according to new circumstances. They treat learning as a lifelong habit rather than a temporary task.
  6. Strong execution and a spirit of practical action
Even the best ideas remain mere speculation if they are not put into practice. Such people are skilled at breaking goals down into actionable steps and persistently advancing them. They value results, are not content to remain at the stage of planning and discussion, and use action to verify and correct their direction.
  7. Adaptability to change and an open, inclusive mindset
The world rarely follows a predetermined path. Those with this quality can promptly adjust strategies according to reality, while remaining willing to listen to different opinions and accept people from diverse backgrounds. Rigidity and closed-mindedness tend to limit one’s scope; flexibility and inclusiveness expand possibilities.
  8. Basic personal credibility and the power to inspire
Long-term achievement of great things ultimately requires others to be willing to follow or cooperate. This demands that the individual establish a credible image at least within their core circle—consistency between words and actions, responsibility for commitments, and consideration for shared interests. Relationships that rely entirely on maneuvering or short-term gain are rarely sustainable.

A Letter to President Trump

A Letter to President Trump
Dear Mr. President:
First of all, thank you, Mr. President, for everything you have done for the American people since taking office. These changes have occurred swiftly and effectively, bringing heartfelt joy to those of us who have fled the authoritarian dictatorship of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). After very careful consideration and research, we present this letter to you.
We also wish to express our gratitude for America’s artificial intelligence technology, which has effectively resolved the issues of data authenticity and accuracy that have long troubled us. Through our data retrieval and investigation, we have obtained the following information regarding Chinese companies listed in the United States:
"Throughout 2024, between 61 and 68 Chinese companies went public in the U.S., raising a total of $2 billion. By the end of January 2025, at least 10 Chinese companies had already completed initial public offerings (IPOs) in the U.S., such as veterinary vaccine supplier Zhengye Bio (listed on January 7) and robotic arm manufacturer Yinlif (listed on January 2). Additionally, several other companies have submitted prospectuses and are awaiting listing. If this trend continues, the number of listings in the first two months of 2025 could approach around 15.
Overall, based on historical data combined with the increases in 2024 and early 2025, the total number of Chinese companies listed in the U.S. may now exceed 260 (based on approximately 250 before 2024, plus the 10-15 newly listed ones). As for total funds raised, the $2 billion in 2024 provides a clear benchmark. While complete statistics for early 2025 are not yet available, considering the scale and market performance of the newly listed companies, a conservative estimate suggests an additional few hundred million dollars, bringing the total close to or exceeding $3.1 billion."
From what we understand, some of these listed companies are ones that few people in China have even heard of, and some may even be shell companies. Yet, they are able to openly list in the U.S., deceiving investors in the American market.
We have identified some typical cases:
Orient Paper:
In 2010, Orient Paper was accused of严重 falsifying financial data, such as publicly disclosing revenues far higher than those reflected in Chinese business records. After a report by short-selling firm Muddy Waters, the company’s stock price plummeted. Statistics show that during the peak period of 2011-2012, as many as 70-100 companies may have been delisted or had trading suspended due to various violations (including data fraud and failure to submit financial reports).
Harbin Electric:
In 2011, a report from a short-selling firm highlighted financial issues with Harbin Electric, causing its stock price to crash in a short period.
Luckin Coffee:
In April 2020, the company admitted to inflating its sales figures by approximately 2.2 billion RMB from the second to fourth quarters of 2019. Following the exposure of this scandal, Luckin’s stock price on NASDAQ plunged by over 75% in a single day. The company subsequently faced class-action lawsuits and regulatory investigations, ultimately delisting from the U.S. market in 2021.
These reports and data are both regrettable and distressing! Some of our friends, unaware of the risks, invested in depository receipts from Chinese companies, resulting in significant losses or even having their accounts wiped out. However, the issue goes beyond American taxpayers’ money being drained by fraudulent companies. As people who have lived in China and escaped its regime, we know that there are no truly large, privately-owned companies in China. Even small private enterprises operate under the jurisdiction and complete control of the Chinese Communist Party. They must submit to the national ideology, which is essentially the will of the CCP, as the country is effectively controlled by this party. The CCP can arbitrarily control private enterprises or seize and confiscate all private assets under pretexts like national security. The companies that manage to list and raise funds in the U.S. are, without exception, obedient to the CCP’s authoritarian regime. This regime is controlled by certain CCP families, and the funds quickly flow into their pockets, becoming tools for their evil deeds in controlling the nation and infiltrating the world.
In China, no private company can bypass the CCP’s control to gain listing opportunities in the U.S. They are either directly controlled by the CCP or cleverly disguised as joint-stock companies. Some may have foreign investors, but that is merely a façade; ultimately, these companies are firmly in the hands of CCP elite families.
Thus, a significant portion of the U.S. dollar funds raised through listings in the U.S. undoubtedly becomes money that the CCP and its elite families can squander and exploit.
What kind of organization is the Chinese Communist Party, and what do they aim to achieve?
A look at the CCP’s history reveals that it is an organization that proclaims the goal of消灭 capitalism and achieving communism—a violent entity responsible for countless deaths. They claim to establish a fair and equal society, but in reality, they have created the most rigid hierarchical society of privilege, where the people have no rights. To this day, Chinese citizens cannot freely access the international internet for information. The regime suppresses all dissenting voices, arbitrarily tramples on people’s rights, and never keeps its promises to the public. Laws are nothing more than empty words and a fig leaf for their actions. Likewise, they flout international rules. In the past, when their military and economic power was weak, they adopted so-called economic openness and a policy of “biding their time.” But after years of infiltration and development, they have now shed their hypocritical mask and are striking out globally. They support dictatorial regimes, terrorist states, and extremist religious forces, infiltrating and undermining the political systems and social order of democratic nations. They influence free elections in democratic countries and even attempt to strip them of that freedom, covertly backing individuals who seek to subvert democratic and free nations. They support Hamas, aid North Korea and Russia, and concealed the Wuhan virus leak that cost thousands of lives worldwide—yet they continue their evildoing!
The renowned Chinese religious group Falun Gong stated in their article Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party: “A leopard cannot change its spots.” “History proves that every time the CCP loosens its shackles and chains, it does not mean it will abandon them.” “In the history of the Communist Party, there have been periods of rampant red terror at its peak and moments of near collapse and desperate flight. Each time, the CCP has relied on rogue tactics to survive crises, only to rise again and continue deceiving the people.” The CCP and its elite families aim to perpetually rule and oppress the Chinese people, and they even seek to dominate the entire world through violence and authoritarian means.
Therefore, we urgently call upon and sincerely implore the U.S. government to cease supporting this anti-humanity, anti-civilization CCP regime. We request a thorough review of Chinese companies already listed in the U.S., the suspension of trading for those listed companies that pose a threat to the security of the U.S. and the world, and a halt to all new opportunities for Chinese companies to list in the U.S. and obtain U.S. dollar funding.
Finally, we sincerely wish you, Mr. President, all the best and bless America to be great again!

Getting Started Tips (U.S. Perspective)

  1. Pick one direction and go deep — Don’t try everything at once. Starting with something that builds on your existing skills or interests is usually the fastest path.
  2. Focus on human-AI collaboration — AI handles speed and first drafts; you provide judgment, creativity, client relationships, and final quality control. Pure AI-generated content without human oversight is becoming harder to monetize successfully.
  3. Keep costs low — Most people start with free tiers or $20–$50/month tools (ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro, Canva Pro, etc.).
  4. Taxes and compliance — As an independent contractor, track income and expenses carefully for 1099 forms and quarterly estimated taxes. Follow platform rules and copyright guidelines.
  5. Realistic timelines — Service-based work (content freelancing, digital products) can generate the first dollars within weeks. Passive channels (YouTube, digital product shops) typically need 1–3 months of consistent effort.

AI has not eliminated opportunities for ordinary people—it has lowered the barriers to creating value. What separates those who succeed is the ability to identify real pain points, deliver consistent quality, and build trust.Choose one path today and start taking action. In the U.S. market, where clients have strong purchasing power and demand for digital products and services is high, AI can realistically become a reliable side income—or even a primary one—if you execute well.Good luck!

作者:A I
